The gap that was

was filled
as if
by water,

naturally.
with ease.and the grace.of Being
Yehudim.

Something for us to remember,
if not to forget.

For This is no trivial matter,

and, behind closed doors,
in the privacy of home,

I would hope that we would find,
in each other,

all that intimacy that ears, lips, and mouth,
and more

offer in the holy covenant of matrimony
in wanting to hear each other,
